General Terms and Conditions

– Payment terms: Deposit of €250 must be accompanied by all weekly bookings. The balance of monies payable on departure.

– Times: Checkin time: 15.00. Checkout time: 11 am.

– Cancellation. 30 days or greater: full refund. | 14 days within which period we refund if resold.

– Boat hire, hydro bikes, paddle boats, a copy of photo ID / Drivers Licence / Passport. Payment on arrival.

– Lifejackets will be supplied and must be worn on all watercrafts at all times.

– Carafin Lodge is strictly Catch and Release fishing only.

– Any damage or loss to equipment provided by us must be paid before departure.

– Please make your own flight and travel insurance arrangements

Lake & Boat Hire – Terms and Conditions

Full contract of hire must be signed at the time of hire but these are the most relevant terms:

– 19ft Boat Engine, fish finder, rod holders, anchor and life vest €85 per day fuel included.

– 15ft lake boat and Engine, anchor, life vests €60 per day fuel included.

– Angling bye-laws have to be adhered to at all times. View the bye-laws here. | Fisheries Ireland website here.

– Buoyancy Aids / Lifejackets (PFD’s) must be worn at all times without exception and will be supplied to each person booked for that boat.

– Standard boat is supplied with oars, anchor with rope, and buoyancy aids as required.

– Outboard engines will only be provided to people who can demonstrate a previous working knowledge of their use.

– A deposit of €50 per boat along with the hire fee must be paid in advance of the hire.

– Each boat must have at least one adult above the age of 17 to act as skipper.

– The consumption of alcohol is not permitted whilst on the water.

– Weather: Boats will not be hired in the case of bad weather either current or forecast.

– We reserve the right to refuse hire to anyone for any reason including weather conditions.
